On January 21, 2022, Wenzhou University “Chinese Bridge” online camp—“Gathering Online in Wenzhou, Appreciating Chinese Culture” was closed. On the closing ceremony, over 900 students from Italy, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Nepal, as well as their course teachers reviewed their two-week online camp, making a warm and meaningful end to this online camp.

At first, Mrs. Lin Ai’ju, Secretary of the CPC CIE,WZU Committee, read out the names of outstanding students in this online camp.

After that, outstanding students talked about their feelings of this online camp one by one. They unanimously expressed their love for this online camp, and they said that this two-week study enables them to know more about China and its culture, as well as the beauty of Wenzhou. Courses offered in this online camp arose their interest in Chinese language and the culture behind it. They hoped they could be lucky enough to have an opportunity to study in Wenzhou University, therefore they could have a close touch with China, and Wenzhou in particular. In the end of their talks, these students thanked course teachers and associate teachers for the knowledge and cares offered to them.

And then, excellent students’ homework, like handwriting of Chinese characters, have been showed. Encompassed in all these works are students’ passion and love for Chinese language and its culture. With the homework show, students have gone through their unforgettable two-week online study again.

At last, Mrs. Ye Miao, Dean of CIE, declared that 2022 Wenzhou University “Chinese Bridge” online camp was closed. And at the same time, she concluded the overall work of this online camp. She praised the students for their strong passion for learning Chinese language, their quick mind in accepting different cultural knowledge, and hard working in practicing written and spoken Chinese. She encouraged these students to keep on their studies of Chinese language and Chinese culture, and welcomed them to come to study in Wenzhou University if they get a chance.
