The winter vacation of 2025 is approaching. To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday, we are pleased to provide you with the arrangements and precautions for the 2025 winter vacation as detailed below.
Please be advised that our school will be closed from January 16th to February 23rd for the Winter Break. Classes will resume on February 24th (Monday) for the new semester.
Warm Reminders:
1.Compliance with Laws and Regulations: All students must adhere to Chinese laws and the rules and regulations of Wenzhou University (WZU). Any violation of laws, decrees, or regulations that results in punishment from public security or judicial departments will be met with school disciplinary action ranging from a serious warning to expulsion, depending on the severity of the offense. Specific prohibitions include but are not limited to drug use, illegal employment, visa expiration, disturbing neighbors when living off-campus, etc.
2.Road Safety: Please comply with traffic rules and regulations at all times. It is strictly prohibited to ride fuel-powered motorcycles in Wenzhou. When operating electric bikes, refrain from speeding, overloading (carrying additional passengers), running red lights, and other unsafe practices.
3.Anti-Theft and Anti-Fraud Measures: Avoid carrying large amounts of cash with you. Be wary of marketing scams, protect your personal information, and never lend your personal identification to others.
4.Religious Activities: Do not participate in any illegal religious gatherings during the winter vacation.
5.Campus Curfew: Students residing on campus must return to their dormitories by 11:00 PM each night. The D area gate will be locked at 11:00 PM, and students are not permitted to leave the D area after this time. Unauthorized departures or providing false information to the school will result in severe disciplinary action.
6.Off-Campus Residents: If you live off-campus, please abide by the community rules and regulations.
7.Police Registration: When staying at locations other than your dormitory or apartment, you must register with the local police station.
8.Security Tips: Always lock your room when you are not present and avoid leaving valuable items in unlocked rooms to prevent misunderstandings or false accusations.
9.Insurance Contact: In case you need to contact the insurance company, please dial 400-810-5119 for 24/7 English and Chinese services.
10.School Fees Payment: School fees must be paid before February 23rd, 2025. Please ensure that your payment is completed by the deadline.
11.Winter Vacation Whereabouts Reporting: All students are required to report their whereabouts during the winter vacation using the code provided below.
