Our College Successfully Conducts an Interview for Prospective Overseas Chinese Teachers for the Chinese Language School in Rome, Italy


    In an effort to identify exceptional Chinese language teachers and infuse overseas Chinese language programs with sustained dynamism, our college conducted an interview for prospective overseas Chinese language teachers dispatched to the Chinese Language School in Rome, Italy, on the afternoon of April 1. Serving as the review committee members were Jiang Zhonghua, the principal of the Chinese Language School in Rome, Italy; Zheng Jianshan, the vice principal; Bao Hanli, the dean of the Overseas Chinese College at Wenzhou University; and Lin Xiaohui, our postgraduate student who had been chosen as a Chinese expatriate teacher of year 2023.

    The atmosphere at the interview venue was warm and dynamic, as the candidates displayed their profound professionalism and exceptional teaching abilities to the fullest extent. Through engaging demonstration lectures, they articulately expressed their unique insights and innovative methodologies in Chinese language teaching.     Following the interview, the judges delivered their concluding remarks in succession, highlighting the promising future and bright prospects of Chinese education. In recent years, our college has accorded significant priority to the internal and external connectivity of Chinese education. They expressed their aspirations for students to continuously enhance their cultural literacy through learning, spearhead the dissemination of culture, and embark on a high-quality journey in the development of Chinese education. Jointly, we shall undertake the noble mission of "Chinese communicators" and diligently fulfill our role as ambassadors of communication between different cultures.

    This interview marks a crucial step in our college's endeavor to identify an exceptional cohort of expatriate Chinese teachers.
