Representatives from Wenzhou University went to Beijing to participate in the 2024 World Chinese Language Conference and China Education Exchange Exhibition


From November 15 to 17, 2024, the three-day 2024 World Chinese Language Conference and China Education Exchange Exhibition was held at the National Convention Center in Beijing. Sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China, the conference, themed "Integration, Inheritance, and Innovation," drew nearly 2,000 participants, including government officials, principals, experts, scholars, teachers, students, and diplomatic envoys from over 160 countries and regions. Among the invited guests were representatives from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and College of International Education of Wenzhou University.

Throughout the conference, delegates engaged in seminars commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Confucius Institute, the 2024 China-GCC language and culture forum, the 2024 World Language Education Forum, and various other activities. Representatives from Wenzhou University actively participated, engaging in in-depth exchanges with renowned universities from both China and abroad. They shared experiences and practices related to education for overseas students in China, exploring potential avenues for future cooperation.

At the educational exchange exhibition, Wenzhou University's booth garnered significant attention from both domestic and international guests. Many participants exhibited keen interest in Wenzhou University's programs for studying in China, visiting to inquire about admission policies, scholarship opportunities, and the life of international students on campus.

Wenzhou University's participation in the World Chinese Language Congress and China Education Exchange Exhibition served as a comprehensive showcase of its efforts to open its education sector to the world on a national stage. This not only boosted its popularity and visibility but also forged connections with numerous universities, paving the way for future collaborations.
