On January 2, 2025, a report meeting was held in Room 918 of Wenzhou University's South School Admin Building about a dean delegation's visit to Indonesia. Vice President Wang Shun, Xiong Yong from the Intl Exchange and Cooperation Office, and others attended.


At the meeting, deans from the Business, Intl Education, Chemical & Materials Engineering, and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Schools, as well as the Deputy Dean of Electrical & Electronic Engineering School, shared their experiences at Tsingshan Industrial Park and Tadulako University in Indonesia. They suggested ways to strengthen cooperation with Indonesian universities and Chinese-funded enterprises.
President Wang praised the delegation's work, noting that education internationalization is crucial. He urged departments to implement opening-up policies, strengthen ties with Belt and Road enterprises, support Zhejiang businesses going global, and fulfill our role in serving local governments.
From November 25-29, 2024, the Intl Education Institute-led delegation, joined by relevant colleges, will visit Indonesia to deepen ties with Tsingshan Stainless Steel Co. and Tadulako University, promoting high-quality construction of Tsingshan Silk Road College.
