Wenzhou University and Indonesia Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce Strengthen Ties to Foster Global Talent


April 7, 2025 – Wenzhou University welcomed a delegation from the Indonesia Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, led by President Hu Xiaojie, to discuss deepening collaboration in international education and talent development. Vice President Wang Shun and representatives from the College of International Education and the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation attended the meeting.

Expanding Partnerships for Global Opportunities

Vice President Wang highlighted Wenzhou University’s academic strengths, global initiatives, and strong ties with Indonesian enterprises. “We are committed to open collaboration and see great potential in working with Indonesian businesses and institutions to cultivate skilled professionals,” he said.

President Hu echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the growing demand for Chinese-proficient, cross-cultural talent as more Zhejiang-based companies invest in Indonesia. “The Chamber is eager to partner with Wenzhou University to design tailored programs that support Chinese enterprises overseas,” he added.

Commitment to Long-Term Collaboration

The two parties signed a Letter of Intent on Promoting China-Indonesia Educational and Cultural Exchange, paving the way for joint talent-training programs and regular exchanges.

This partnership aligns with Wenzhou University’s mission to advance global education and support the Belt and Road Initiative.
