“Lunch with the Dean” went on in the Coffee Bar on April 27, 2022. Dean Song Zhanmei, Vice Secretary of the CPC CIE Committee Fang Jianxiao, and teachers, including Liu Tian, Bai Jie, Zhang Minlu, Wu Quanquan, attended the lunch. In addition, seven international students from Ethiopia, Zambia, Nigeria, and Portugal, attended the lunch.
Delicious food with tasty coffee, both teachers and students enjoyed their lunch.
During the lunch, they talked about current studying and future jobs. The students rose questions about further studying, future career development and finding a job in Wenzhou. Dean Song, Vice Secretary Fang and other teachers answered those questions in detail and gave many heartfelt advices to the students, encouraging them to accurately connect their professional knowledge with their career planning, and enriching their related professional practices as much as possible. They also encouraged the international students to stay in Wenzhou and start their own life and business.
Though the lunch was short, it conveyed care, love and hope the CIE leader and teachers had for the international students. We are trying to find and create more ways to provide an enabling study environment for international students.
