On the evening of November 26, 2022, Wenzhou University "Gatorade Cup" basketball tournament came to an end, and the international basketball team of the College of International Education won the championship and successfully defended its title as well. This international student basketball team was established under the guidance of the College of International Education and is composed of international students who like basketball. The captain of the basketball team is a law student KALAMBAYI FARAI BAIN KLEIN (Jin Long). He has made great efforts from the selection of players to the regular training and the participation in the competition. Although the training process was hard, the team members were able to keep united and be full of fighting spirit. Facing the strong opponents, they adjusted their strategies in time, and finally won the championship.
Captain Jin Long said: "This year I became the captain of the basketball team, I thought about what to do to make the team better and better, so we came up with a more feasible training program, and started practicing very early. Although we were chased by our opponents in the last minute of the finals to evaluate the score, we persevered and managed to get back the score in the last minutes and got the championship again. This competition brought me a lot of inspiration and thinking, and we will continue to work hard in the future, hoping to get the same championship next year."
