CIE Holds International Cultural Exhibition to Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of WZU


To celebrate the 90th anniversary of Wenzhou University(WZU) and welcome Chinese and foreign alumni home, College of International Education(CIE) held an international cultural exhibition in the front of the Building 3 of the North Campus on May 13. More than 20 international students from Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Morocco, Thailand, Bangladesh and other countries brought their home countries’ culture items to the exhibition.

International Alumni Adofo Michael Adjei (Hong Taiyang) from Ghana and alumni graduated from the Aviation Management program were invited.Song zhanmei, Dean of CIE, and Fang Jianxiao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC CIE Committee, had a close talk with alumni and participating students. The alumni had a warm exchange with international students, sharing their stories and growing experiences of studying in WZU. MICHAEL is currently a foreign trade affairs manager at Denggao Electric Company. He shared his personal experience of studying at WZU with international students, encouraging them to work hard and learn Chinese well and becoming an excellent international graduate.

International alumni and other students visited the Art Museum of Wenzhou University, appreciating the exquisite collections and paintings reflecting the profoundness of Chinese traditional culture. The alumni also had a pleasant talk with Zhang Jian, the secretary of the CPC WZU committee.

Because the number of international graduates of WZU is growing. CIE is actively exploring new ways and means to keep alumni from all over the world in touch, enrich alumni database, and encourage international alumni to Bring the world to Wenzhou, Bridge Wenzhou with the World.
