The seventh fun sports Games for teachers and students of CIE

On the afternoon of November 8th, the 7th fun sports games for teachers and students of CIE was held in the football field of the North Campus. More than 100 international students, postgraduates of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and teachers of CIE attended the event.

The fun sports games are divided into three individual events: skipping rope competition, crossing the river by touching stones, and candy fighting, and two team events: dodgeball and mutual affinity. Among them, the candy fighting and crossing the river by touching stones are the most interesting. Teachers and students were using chopsticks to get as more candies as they can, and the one with the largest amount of candies within one minute won. Many teachers and students watching the competition wanted to see whether Chinese students and teachers won or international students who were unfamiliar with using chopsticks won. Although the international students failed in the end, many international students still have more than 60 candies, only a few candies short of the winner. Crossing the river by touching stones was also one of the games that students actively participate in. Each contestant placed one brick under each foot. After hearing the referee's command "Start", the contestants started to lift their left feet and placed bricks in front, then lifted their right feet and place bricks in front of their right feet. In this way, the group finished the course with the shortest time won, therefore teachers and students rushed forward with all their strength.

The fun sports games for teachers and students ended in the award ceremony for the winners. Chinese and foreign teachers and students felt the fun of sports, the power of cooperation and the happy atmosphere together through the participation of activities.
