Recently, our school received a special thank-you letter from the Foreign Affairs Office of Wenzhou Municipal People's Government, in which they fully affirmed and sincerely thanked our international student volunteers for their excellent language service in the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games!
Smile makes Asian Games sweet. During the preparation and hosting of the Asian Games, more than 10 international students from Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal and other countries actively participated in the volunteer service to escort the Asian Games. 1,500 hours out of 18 days, the international students helped the Asian Games to be a complete success with practical actions. With professional spirit, friendly smile and thoughtful service, the international student volunteers are conscientious, responsible and hard-working, fully demonstrating the volunteer spirit of "dedication, love, mutual assistance and progress", which has won unanimous praise from athletes, staff and leaders of Wenzhou Foreign Affairs Office. Liu Xiaotao, Secretary of Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee said that they have set up a communication bridge for friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries.
The thank you letter is short, but the volunteers’ spirit is inspiring. The 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou ended, but the friendship between China and foreign countries continued to develop. Next, the international students of our school will continue to shine and make more active efforts to communicate Chinese and foreign cultures, enhance mutual understanding and friendship, and build a community with a shared future, and join hands with the world to the future!
