To response to President Xi Jinping’s call to become pioneers in Hangzhou Asian Games and ensure a successful Asian Games, our college actively carried out the theme education activities of the Asian Games, and actively cooperated with the departments of entry and exit, foreign affairs office and police station to implement relevant work. College leaders and counselors and teachers, as well as more than 10 international students from Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal and other countries actively participated in the volunteer services to keep the Asian Games going smoothly. After 18 days, the volunteer service time of our volunteers accumulated to over 1,500 hours, helping the Asian Games to be a complete success with practical actions.
As foreign volunteers of the Asian Games, our international students always served their national teams, told stories of the Asian Games, and spread Chinese and foreign cultures with full enthusiasm and warm smiles. On the evening of September 25th, Liu Xiaotao, secretary of Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee, visited Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center. He fully affirmed the volunteer service of our international students, and thanked all the international student volunteers for their efforts in hosting the wonderful Asian Games.
