On May 21, Fang Jianxiao, Deputy Secretary of CPC CIE Committee, along with Counselor Cheng Ling, visited Denggao Electric Co., Ltd. in Yueqing.With the aim of fostering school-enterprise collaboration, they signed a cooperation agreement for a practical training base with the company and met alumni working there. Ge Ningyue, the General Manager of Denggao Electric Co., Ltd., and Guo Lingyi, Head of Human Resources, warmly welcomed Fang Jianxiao and his team.

On the morning of May 21, Fang engaged in a discussion with Ge, alongside graduate representatives from Turkmenistan's SILABOV DOVLETMYRAT (Ali) and Zimbabwe's ZWAKARIMWA NYASHA, as well as Cheng. Secretary Fang commenced by outlining the fundamentals of our college’s international student education, quality, and graduate employment prospects. Manager Ge then provided a concise overview of the company’s developmental journey, current standing, and future plans. Two representatives of our international students shared their learning experience and future career plans. By the end of the meeting, both parties signed a cooperation agreement for a practical training base, aiming for Denggao Electric to offer internship opportunities and professional training in international trade and customer management to international students specializing in machinery manufacturing, high and low voltage electrical, and related fields. Secretary Fang emphasized that in the future, the college will continue to recommend outstanding international students with proficient Chinese language skills and robust professional aptitudes to Denggao Electric for internships and practical experiences. It is hoped that these students will contribute to Denggao Electric, adding an international touch to the employment and entrepreneurship landscape in Wenzhou.


Secretary Fang also visited ADOFO MICHAEL ADJEI (Sun), an alumnus of our college who has been working in the company for nearly three years, and had a pleasant exchange with MICHAEL on the employment environment, career development and living conditions. MICHAEL said that he was very happy with the arrival of his teachers and classmates. He said, “I am very grateful to the college for its training, and I am also very grateful to Denggao Electric for giving me the opportunity to work here. I hope to introduce Wenzhou University and Denggao Electric to my friends in the home country in the future, and encourage them to come and study in Wenzhou University.
