On September 25, 2024, Lin Aiju, secretary of the CIE CPC Committee, led our 80 Indonesian master and language students from WZU-Tsingshan class to Wenzhou-Kean University(WKU) for a cultural and academic exchange. The trip not only enhanced the students' understanding of China but also boosted their motivation to learn Chinese.

The students toured WKU’s campus, visiting the Polytechnic Building, Gehekai Building, Business School, Comprehensive Arena, and the Student Learning and Activity Center (the Library). They were impressed by the clean environment, American architecture, unique interior design, and inclusive academic atmosphere.

Professor Yang Yixin, WKU’s Academic Vice President, welcomed the students and introduced WKU’s philosophy, international features, and achievements. He emphasized the university’s commitment to nurturing globally-minded talents with cross-cultural skills and invited more Indonesian students to study there.

Admissions Director Jin Chun then detailed WKU’s program offerings, teaching methods, and admission process. She presented diverse program options and flexible admission pathways, fostering a deeper understanding among the Indonesian visitors. Director Jin assured that the university would continue to provide top-notch resources and services to international students.

A highlight of the visit was Ms. Zeng Chunling’s art exhibition in the library. Zeng’s works captivated students with their unique perspectives and emotional depth, offering a visual and spiritual treat.
