Wenzhou, March 22 – Five international students from Wenzhou University showcased their musical talents and passion for Chinese culture at the "Singing the Future, Dreaming in Zhejiang" Chinese song competition, with two securing provincial awards in the fiercely contested event.

Organized by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, the competition at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics attracted 235 contestants from 45 universities across the province. WZU's delegation included Indonesian students PRATIWI DEWI, HALIM SEBASTIEN LUCAS, and GAMAL AGAL CRISTIAN, Congolese student SAFARI BWINJA BIZAZA, and Vietnamese student LA VAN DAT.

University Support Fuels Success
College Dean Xia Yuanzhi and Party Secretary Lin Aiju personally oversaw participant selection and provided ongoing guidance during rehearsals. "We wanted to ensure our students felt supported in this cultural journey," said Dean Xia.

Cultural Bridges Through Music
As part of the 18th "Dreaming in Zhejiang" series, the competition aligns with WZU's commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding.
With Wenzhou University continuing to expand international cultural initiatives, these musical ambassadors have set a harmonious precedent for future exchange. "Music proved once again to be the universal language that connects us all," reflected competition participant SAFARI.
