Wenzhou, April 2, 2025 – Wenzhou University held a safety education conference today, equipping international students with essential knowledge for campus life in China.
The event featured expert-led sessions on key safety topics:
Mental Health: Dr. Ye Zhaixiang shared coping strategies for seasonal emotional challenges.
Anti-Fraud & Drugs: Police demonstrated common scams and drug prevention measures.
Fire Safety: A live dorm fire simulation highlighted electrical hazards.
Traffic Rules: VR simulations showed consequences of traffic violations.
Officials also clarified China's religious activity regulations for foreign nationals.
"The goal is to ensure safety while respecting cultural differences," said organizer Ding Qiang. The university plans follow-up workshops and an around-the-clock helpline.
With over 85% participant satisfaction, the forum strengthened Wenzhou University's support system for its international community.
