On May 20 to 22, CIE held interviews for 2020 MTCSOL. Influenced by the pandemic, this interview has been held online through app Dingding and Zoom for the first time. The number and quality of candidates, who chose our college as their second choice, have increased greatly. In total, there were 181 candidates and 28 of them were chosen for the interview. Their written test scores range from the highest 396 to the lowest 361.
To ensure a smooth and orderly interview, CIE established a college leading group with the dean as the group leader and the college party secretary and vice deans as vice group leaders, made scientific admission rules, carried out training for our staff about policies, disciplines and computer technology of the interview, well prepared equipment, classrooms and environment for the interview and had rehearsals several times.
Each department of our college did its own work and cooperated with each other. CIE announced CIE 2020 Master Admission Interview Rules on time; answered students questions in detail; informed them of interview procedure, admission rules and required equipment, environment and materials for the interview; and asked them to make a good preparations. Test paper group were thinking over and over again about the objective test questions and secretly kept the test paper according to the university’s relevant regulations. Technology group attended the training, retested the online interview apps and contacted with the candidates one by one to see if their equipment works well. Examiners were responsible for checking candidates’ professional and comprehensive qualities. The office of college affairs provided great logistical support. The interview went efficiently and finished in one day, lasted from seven in the morning to eight in the evening.
This year our admission scale has enlarged to 19 students. With the overall cooperation of all departments of CIE, the 2020 master admission interview came to a successful conclusion.
