On the afternoon of October 22, CIE held the orientation for the newly enrolled international students of 2021. All new students including undergraduate, graduate and advanced language students participated in the orientation online or on-site.
Dean Ye Miao extended a warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations to the new international students from Nigeria, Tanzania, Pakistan and other countries. She introduced the long history of Wenzhou city and the basic situation of our university, as well as the concept and meaning of the “Belt and Road”Initiative. She encouraged new students to have a comprehensive understanding of China and Wenzhou and try their best to become embassadors of cultural exchanges and friendly communication between China and their motherlands, while learning Chinese language and professional knowledge well.
Just after Dean Ye, Vice Dean Xiong Yong, Mr. Zhao Ruijin from the Academic Affairs Office and Ms. Wu Fengxian from the school library gave a detailed introduction of the regulations of academic registration, the usage of international student system and library resources.All these information have offered a practical guide for international students to planning their academic career.
