Ouhai Exit-Entry Administration Brigade Visited Our University for the Enrollment and Management of International Students


On the morning of November 12, a group of three police officers consisted of Zhou Xuemin, Chief of Ouhai Exit-Entry Administration Brigade, Xu Jing and Chen Xiaofei, came to our university to investigate the enrollment and management of international students. Leaders and staff from CIE, including Lin Aiju, Secretary of the CPC CIE Committee, Fang Jianxiao, Deputy Secretary, Guan Lili, Chief of the Admissions Office, and Wu Quanquan and Qian Jiangchao, counselors for international students, received them and had a meeting with them. 

Ms. Lin extended warm welcome to the group. Mr. Fang introduced our regular education and management of international students, and also put forward the difficulties and pressure in our daily work under the epidemic. After that, Ms. Guan Lili introduced the basic situation of international student admission this year.


Ms. Zhou spoke highly of our regular management of international students. In addition, she asked us to hold onto the safety management and education of international students, and improve and standardize the management system of international students. She also put forward some suggestions on the cooperative management of international students between the university and Ouhai Exit-Entry Administration. Meanwhile, she said our two sides should raise language requirements for prospective students, and gradually higher the threshold of international student enrollment by smoothing mutual communication and information exchanging. 

After that, both sides discussed about education of laws and regulations on entry-exit, procedures of applying for visa and residence permit and pandemic prevention and control for international students.


This discussion between both sides will help us to further improve our work on overseas students education and services. We will do a better job in giving safety education for international students, strengthening attendance management, improving emergency plans, and some other jobs related with international students. We will keep a close communicate and exchange with the Ouhai Exit-Entry Administration Brigade and collaborate with it to well done our job of education and safety management for international students.
