Local Police and Universities Jointly Build Cultural Bridges

On Monday, our university held an online signing ceremony with Wenzhou Airport Immigration Border Checkpoints(WAIBC) and Wenzhou Medical University(WMU) on a collaborative mechanism of jointly building cultural bridges. Leaders of WAIBC and these two universities, including Chief Liu Hao and Vice Chief Liu Bing from the WAIBC, Secretary of the CPC CIE Committe, Lin Aiju and Vice Secretary of the CPC CIE Committe, Fang Jianxiao, and Dean Jin Litai and Vice Dean Miao Liyi from WMU, attended the ceremony.

Mrs. Lin pointed out that Wenzhou University (WZU) had rich experience in international education, and as one of the main universities in Wenzhou, it shoulders the important mission of helping Wenzhou to build a cultural highland with strong influence in the country. We will tap into international sources and strength in Chinese language education to support the construction of a collaborative mechanism of jointly building cultural bridges.

After that, Mrs. Lin, on behalf of CIE, signed the collaboration agreement with WAIBC, WMU and Wenzhou Chunxia Foreign Language Translation Co.Ltd.

Based on immigration border control functions, the signing of this agreement is going to create a safe, efficient and harmonious environment for cultural construction. Next, we will promote the integration and utilization of local police and universities resources to build a large foreign language talent pool and expand information collection channels to form more efficient cultural exchange platform for Chinese and foreign countries.
