Caring about Overseas Students
Author: MA Zhedong
Posttime: 2015-02-12
Readtimes:
Following the step of New Year, teachers in the college of international cooperation including Zhu Jianping, Chen Zanan, and Liu Jiandong visited overseas students. These students were from Italy, Thailand, Korea, and so on. When teachers visited students, they learned how students spent their holidays.
Teacher Zhu Jianping represented the college to send the greet and wish of New Year to students. Spring festival is of great importance to Chinese people. During spring festival, all Chinese people make every effort to go home and stay with their families. Although overseas students couldn’t return home, it was really a good chance to experience Chinese culture. Also, teacher Zhu kept reminding students of arranging their holiday life well and being cautious when alone.
It is the third year for the college of international cooperation to care about overseas students during winter holiday since 2012. This activity of caring not only lets students learn Chinese culture, but also builds up communications between teachers and students.
