Yiwu is a city known for its E-business. Prime Minister Li Keqiang paid a visit to Yiwu to inspect at the end of November. That gave people who worked on E-business much encouragement.
To let students have a concrete recognition, teachers organized an activity of visiting Yiwu wholesale market concluding 16 international students and Chinese students in major of International Economy and Trade.
After 4 hours’ trip, students arrived in Qin Yanliu village. The vice director of village introduced history of E-business to students. Meanwhile, he took concrete examples to explain the function and main points of E-business. After that, students visited some local companies.
On the second day, all students were divided into three groups to do a themed research. They learned ways of selling via local interview and buying goods. Naomi and Juliana from Ghana especially found out the African commodity area. At there, they made a specific presentation of goods to Chinese people. All students learned a lot during the experience. They had a better knowledge of their major in international economics and trade.
