Spring 2014 the second multi-language courses started at Wenzhou University
Author: WANG Jiawen
Posttime: 2014-03-18
Readtimes:
March 18, hosted by the Multi-Language Extension Center and the Club of International Communication of Wenzhou University, the second multi-language courses of Spring 2014 officially started. This semester the center still offers classes in English, Italian, French, Thai and Spanish. Once launched, the courses received high interest. All seven available classes had been fully booked by now.
The teachers are mainly composed of our international students, among whom there is Luis from Spain who gives pure Spanish language course and passionate cultural experience; YE Donglai and Lyli, Chinese overseas students, who teach respectively Italian and French. Thai students Patsaporn and Chawanya appeared at the platform as a duo. They bring together for the students vivid Thai courses. The course also attracted more than 30 faculty teachers from various colleges and various administrative positions. With the great enthusiasm for language learning, the faculty teachers sit in the same classroom with other students and listen carefully to the international student ‘teachers’.
Language learning is significant for today's international exchange. Our Multi-Language Extension Center will continue to make efforts to integrate school international students and teachers, as well as foreign-friendly university resources for teachers and students to build a high-quality platform for cross-cultural communication.
