26 Thai students would return their hometown after completion of one-year-study in Wenzhou University in the coming days. These Thai students reached China in February, 2012, and are the fist Thai class trained under 3+1 joint-educational project between Wenzhou University and Burapha University. The farewell party for them was held on Bailu Room, Yansong Hall on 9th, January, 2013. The president Cai Yuanqiang, and the vice president Xue Wei, had attended the ceremony.

The president Cai Yuanqiang congratulate the Thai student and encourage them to acknowledge more in Chinese language and Chinese culture, and enhance the friendship between Thailand and China after back hometown. The vice president Xue Wei had a cordial talk with Thai students, he was impressed by their activity and performance in school.

“It is very cold in Wenzhou, but the teacher and the classmate here are very nice, I felt the warmth and comfort at home. China is my second hometown, and the time I spent here is very precious. I just want to say, thank you, Wenzhou University.” Kanitcha Srinaka, one of the Thai student tried to express her unwilling to part with Wenzhou University and Wenzhou on the party.

In the pretty rhythm of Auld lang syne sang by all the student and teacher, Thai and Chinese, the farewell party was finished.
