On the afternoon of May 17, the inauguration ceremony of Department of Overseas Students Education & Services and College of International Education was held in front of the international building in north campus. Mou Degang, Deputy Secretary of WZU, and Qian Qiang, Vice President of WZU, attended the ceremony. Ye Miao, Dean and Secretary of CIE, along with other leaders of the college, witnessed the establishment of the Department and CIE.

In order to accelerate its implementation of the strategy of international education in the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, Wenzhou University will change the name of College of International Cooperation, Wenzhou university into College of International Education, Wenzhou University, while establishing Department of Overseas Students Education & Services to work together with CIE.
