On the afternoon of September 15, 2017, the conference on international student work in the new semester was held at Bailu Hall in the south campus. Qian Qiang, Vice President of Wenzhou University, leaders of CIE and other colleges related to international students enrollment attended the meeting, with Ye Miao presiding over the meeting.

At the meeting, Chen Wenyuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party branch of CIE, revised, explained and interpreted the international student management system at Wenzhou University. Associate Dean Chen Jun introduced the situation of old students and the recruitment of undergraduates and postgraduates, and deployed relevant teaching work in the new semester. Ye Miao pointed out that during the“13thFive-Year Plan”period, CIE should make joint efforts with other colleges to enrich amateur cultural life of international students so as to give those students a sense of identity and happiness, and create a brand of international education in WZU. Vice President Qian Qiang made a summary of the meeting and gave a speech on behalf of the university. He thanked the teachers of various colleges for their hard work, expressed his satisfaction in the international students’enrollment, and reiterated that he would work together with all colleges to drive forward the university’s efforts in internationalization.
