Author: 钱江潮 Posttime: 2018-04-25Readtimes:

Mentoring sessions for international students were held on April 14, attended by 65 WZU foreign students from 8 colleges.

It includes four sessions. The first session is about safety issues relating to WZU foreign students. Qiu Libin and Zhou Chenyi, two officers from Chashan Police Station, offered their insight into how foreign students ensure personal safety and property security during their study in Wenzhou. Several cases and interpretation of relevant rules help improve safety awareness of students present at the lecture. On second session, Ou Yangchao, officer from Entry-Exit Administration of Wenzhou Public Security Bureau, laid out China’s rules and regulations on residence permit and visa for international students studying in China, hoping that they should abide by relevant laws while enjoying their college lives.

At third session, Yi Su, Director of Student Affairs Office of Wenzhou-Kean University, offered psychological group consulting to foreign students. That session, themed self protection and suicide risk identification, offers several tips for how to adjust your emotions in ways that guards against suicide.

CIE Student Counselors, including Huang Hu’erli, Xie Jian, Chen Kanghao touched upon rules relating to academics, scholarships and disciplines, stressing the importance of obeying school rules.
