Three WZU students won the Second Prize and the Third Prize, Outstanding Talent Award and Best Popularity Award.

According to the organizers of the event, the finalists were selected from118 foreign students from 29 different countries across Wenzhou, including foreign students, teachers and businessmen.

In the final, WZU Korean student Park Seongeun’s standard Chinese pronunciation coupled with Chinese idioms showed her deep understanding of Chinese culture.

Wang Lingjie, a WZU Italian student, recited classic lines from Flirting Scholar, leaving a deep impression on judges.

Zico Zhongzhon, a Brazil student, showed his calligraphy on site inthe final.

The contest enriches Chinese language classroom and serves as a stimulus for foreign students to study Chinese. Deeper understanding of Chinese culture and Wenzhou culture enhance exchanges between Chinese culture and foreign culture.
