According to the CSC [2022] File and relevant WZU regulations, CSC students must join the annual review organized by Wenzhou University. The Annual Review is a comprehensive assessment of students’ performance, including academic performance, attitude, attendance as well as demerit record.
Those who fail to pass the Annual Review, including those who fail to submit Annual Review documents before the deadline, will not only stop receive monthly stipend from Sep.2022, but also shall pay the 2021-2022 academic year’s tuition, accommodation, insurance etc… on their own expense. Students who fail to pass the Annual Review for consecutively two years will lose the opportunity to apply for CSC scholarship.
Those who are going to graduate in this June don’t need to submit their annual review form. However, if such students fail to graduate or apply for graduation extension, the CSC scholarship will stop automatically by the end of this semester. The students shall pay the required fees on their own expense during the extended period as self-paid students.
Those who lose scholarship and cannot afford their fees may apply for dropout or suspension.

2. Annual Review Process
From this year, the review is conducted online. The information will be organized first before you can do the online application.
(1). From May 3rd to 5th, students need to check if you can log in your CSC account through the website: studyinchina.csc.edu.cn. If you forget your password, please reset it.
(2). From May 6th to 10th, After the annual review form is sent to students, students should log in the information system studyinchina.csc.edu.cn through the CSC number to enter the "Annual Self-evaluation of Scholarship", fill in the "Chinese Government Scholarship Institution Evaluation Questionnaire", complete the self-evaluation information and upload the supporting materials, and click "Submit";
(3). From May 10th to 13th, the tutor/supervisor will do the online evaluation.
(4). Before May 18th, the review committee will have a meeting and make the final review.
3. Notes
1. You can ask your major college to provide your transcript (must have a stamp)
2. For Chinese-taught students, please fill the form in Chinese;for English-taught students, in English
3. Those who don’t submit the online annual review form on time, will be regarded to give up the qualification of scholarship automatically.
4. In any of the following circumstances, the annual evaluation will recommend suspending the student’s eligibility for CSC scholarship for one year:
(1) The student has been subject to disciplinary probation for breaking University rules and regulations.
(2) The student has improper words or deeds that violate Chinese laws or statutes, endanger China’s national security or interests, damage the University’s reputation or the community’s public interests, or disrupt public order, thereby causing an adverse impact.
(3) The student has failed to comply with the relevant management and control regulations during special periods (e.g., the prevention and control period of COVID-19) and engaged in improper words or deeds, thereby causing an adverse impact.
(4) The student has any other circumstances for which the scholarship should be suspended.
5. In any of the following circumstances, the annual evaluation will recommend revoking the student’s eligibility for CSC Scholarship:
(1) The student has been expelled from the University for breaking University rules and regulations.
(2) The student has improper words or deeds that violate Chinese laws or statutes, endanger China’s national security or interests, damage the community’s public interests, or disrupt public order, thereby causing a serious impact.
(3) The student has failed to comply with the relevant management and control regulations during special periods (e.g., the prevention and control period of COVID-19) and has improper words or deeds, thereby causing a serious impact.
(4) The student has been rated as unsatisfactory in two consecutive annual evaluations during his or her period of study at the University.
(5) The student has failed to participate in the annual evaluation process without justifiable reasons.
(6) The student has any other circumstances for which the scholarship should be suspended.
