August 12, 2025 – Wenzhou University(WZU) concluded its fourth session of the Qingshan Class program on Monday with a heartfelt ceremony and vibrant multicultural performances.
A Celebration of Achievement
WZU’s leaders, including Vice President Wang Shun, and Mr. Zhu Zhentao, representing Tsingshan Industrial Group, joined faculty and students to honor the graduates.
In his address, Vice President Wang Shun congratulated the students and emphasized the program's role in building cultural and economic bridges between China and Indonesia. He encouraged graduates to become “cultural ambassadors”, “innovative collaborators”, and “witnesses of friendship”.
Mr. Zhu Zhentao praised the partnership between Tsingshan and WZU, highlighting the program's success in preparing students for global careers.
Faculty representative Peng Shuiqin shared emotional memories from the academic year, followed by student speeches delivered in fluent Chinese. Graduates presented flowers to their teachers in a moving show of gratitude.
A Show of Talent and Culture
The cultural performance featured a rich blend of Chinese and Indonesian traditions. Highlights included an elegant dance performance Blue and White Porcelain, a stirring choir rendition of As Wish, and a heartfelt solo Fifty Years Later. Indonesian students performed traditional dance Nusantara and folk song Yamko Rambe Yamko. A humorous talk titled My Life at WZU and a passionate poetry recitation I Love Setting Out reflected the students’ personal journeys. The event concluded with a full-class performance of Friends, celebrating the bonds formed during their studies.
New Beginnings
The ceremony ended with a group photo, capturing graduates in traditional dress alongside their teachers. These students now move forward as young ambassadors of Sino-Indonesian cooperation.
The Qingshan Class program demonstrates WZU's commitment to global education and to building robust partnerships with industry.
