Oct. 30, 2025—Wenzhou University (WZU) has earned a six-year accreditation with a 'Grade B' rating, which is the highest rank for first-time participants, for the quality of its education for international students. The recognition was announced at the 26th China International Education Annual Conference, hosted by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) in Beijing.

The CEAIE-administered accreditation is a nationally recognized benchmark for quality in international student education. WZU underwent a rigorous evaluation process, which included an extensive on-site review by an expert panel in May 2025. The review involved class observations, interviews with staff and students, and a thorough assessment of the university's facilities and administrative processes.
"This accreditation validates our commitment to high-quality international education," said Xia Yuanzhi, Dean of the International Education College, who accepted the certificate on behalf of the university. "It marks a new stage in our development and reinforces our 'Study at WZU' brand."

The university stated that it will use the expert feedback from the review to further enhance its recruitment, academic programs, and student services for its international community. This initiative aligns with China's broader strategy to strengthen its global educational engagement.
