Wenzhou University’s College of International Education appointed its 2026 cohort of international student alumni liaison officers on May 20, at a ceremony and symposium attended by college leaders and alumni working in the city.

RUSTAM ATAIKHAN (Wang Hanli) was named President of the WZU International Student Alumni Association for Central Asia. Other liaison officers received their certificates from Party Secretary Lin Aiju.

At the symposium, officers shared their study experiences and post-graduation plans. Wang Hanli spoke of his time in Wenzhou and pledged to strengthen ties between alumni and the university.

Secretary Lin called the role both an honor and a duty, urging officers to connect alumni globally, promote WZU’s stories, and foster cross-cultural friendship.

The event ended with a group photo, reinforcing the university’s growing international alumni network.
