Wenzhou University held a cooperation meeting with a Serbian delegation on September 13, 2026, at the International Education College. Chaired by deputy dean Zheng Ting, the talks aimed to deepen China-Serbia educational and cultural exchanges and expand international cooperation.

Zheng Ting welcomed the delegation and outlined the college's development. Wang Guanxiong, principal of Serbia's "China Corner" Language and Culture School, introduced his institution. Hu Chunyan, associate professor at WZU's Overseas Chinese College, and Zhao Yang, director of the China-Russia Education Development Center at the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade, also presented their institutions' profiles and international cooperation efforts.

Participants discussed international education cooperation, talent cultivation, and cultural exchange, agreeing to further explore cooperation potential and share quality educational resources. Guests later toured the College of International Education and the Overseas Chinese Museum.

The meeting strengthened ties between WZU and the Serbian and SCO-related institutions and laid a foundation for future cooperation in faculty and student exchanges, academic collaboration, and Chinese-language education.

The "China Corner" Language and Culture School, founded in June 2020, has taught Serbian and English to over 500 Chinese and Chinese to more than 200 Serbians. The China-Russia Education Development Center promotes China-Russian educational cooperation through joint talent programs and cultural activities such as "micro-study" summer camps.
