Research Directions

01 Footwear and Accessory Design: The fashion industry is one of the eight trillion-yuan key development sectors of the 13th Five-Year Plan in Zhejiang Province, with Wenzhou recognized as the "Shoe Capital of China." This direction focuses on two main research areas: the cultural study of footwear design and the fashion design of footwear. It aims to innovate footwear products by integrating modern aesthetic concepts, thereby enhancing the research and development level of fashionable footwear products.

02 Clothing Design and Manufacturing: This direction is grounded in the convergence of traditional ethnic culture and modern clothing technology innovation, serving as the two fundamental focal points for systematic research and exploration in "clothing design." It primarily encompasses three areas: clothing culture and corporate culture development, clothing design technology and development, and fashion management and communication.

03 Environmental Art and Cultural Creative Product Design: This direction is based on the integrated design of spatial environments and cultural creative products, including the design and virtual simulation of architectural interior and exterior spaces as well as cultural creative products. By applying artistic and technical treatments to spaces, it reflects specific atmospheres and styles, thus fulfilling people's functional and aesthetic needs.
